My name is Fatoumata Koffi, but you can call me Fatou or Faith! I am the proud owner of Braids by Faith and have been deeply passionate about hair care for over 25 years. My journey began in Africa in 1997, where I mastered braiding techniques, twists, and professional-quality weaves.

In April 2017, I earned my cosmetology license from Hair Academy, and I have since expanded my expertise by studying trichology and the causes of alopecia. This knowledge allows me to better understand scalp conditions and promote healthy hair growth for my clients.

Braids By Faith Foundation

Braids by Faith Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting communities through acts of service, generosity, and empowerment. Rooted in a passion for both hair care and humanitarian efforts, we extend our hands beyond the salon to serve those in need—both in the U.S. and across Africa.

Our mission is to provide financial and spiritual support to individuals facing hardship. Through outreach programs, we visit shelters to offer free hair braiding services, restoring dignity and confidence to those who need it most. We also donate clothing, contribute funds to feed children in Africa, and support struggling families with essential resources.

At Braids by Faith Foundation, we believe that true beauty comes from giving back. Every braid we create and every hand we extend is a testament to our commitment to love, service, and community transformation.
